USA - Block Tour - Alaska

Join us each week (Sundays) to get a new FREE block!

Week #2 is Alaska 

The Alaskan Ididarod - I have never been to Alaska, but it’s on my bucket list, which is why I chose to do a design for this state.   Although Alaska has whale watching, glaciers, National Parks, and untapped beauty, I think of the dog sleds, and remember “Balto” a lead dog of a sled team, that battled blizzard conditions to rush serum to Nome in the heroic action called the “Great Race of Mercy”
