Week #7 - Oklahoma on the USA Block Tour. The block is Ashli Montgomery of Quilt 2 End ALZ, Inc. version of Oklahoma‘a state flower- the Indian Blanket. She knew – her block would be a version of this vivid wildflower, those breathtaking Oklahoma sunsets, and her love of quilting. She started with the traditional “Road to Oklahoma” block: Played with the half-square triangles and set the colors to mimic the Indian Blanket’s dark center, fiery petals, and golden tips.
