Today I’m excited to share the latest FREE sample block pattern by Sarah Ruiz as week #6 of Around the Block – US Tour - TEXAS! If you’re participating in the tour, you’ve already visited Massachusetts, Alaska, Washington, California, and Florida…so it’s definitely time to journey south to the Lone Star state. This free Texas Bluebonnet pattern is foundation paper pieced and makes a 6″ finished quilt block. You will need several strips of blue fabrics, plus a bit of green and your choice of background fabric. Make it scrappy or solid — it looks great either way! Get your free sample block here here
